13th April 2006 Windsurfing: Chasewater Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 10-25 Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Got off work early and packed my gear and shot to chasewater. Arrived and the wind seemed a bit gusty so went big with the 7.0. Totally overpowered but had some mad speed runs up and down the lake until my boom broke. Cr*p carbon stuff, cant handle the stress. Anyway rigged the 5.7 and Style and had a ball. The wind was a bit too gusty at times which made it uncomfortable at times. After about 2.5 hours packed up and went home along with the wind. |
